The ingredients of lip glosses or lipsticks do not affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills in any way, even if they are eaten as a result of licking the lips.

Lip gloss will not reduce the effectiveness of contraceptive pills, even if it gets into the gastrointestinal tract in minimal amounts. The composition of the preparation does not indicate a risk of interactions. Besides, the amount of product you are potentially able to "eat" during application would not be able to affect the absorption of the drug.
