Hello
I have been taking Caramlo 8/5mg for a good 2 years, one daily. My blood pressure has been fine since then. However, my asthma has gotten worse continuously. Now I have stopped taking Caramlo for a month and my asthma has improved by 60%. I have also discontinued my Forster 200 because I have had significant bloodshot rashes for about 9 months. Since I no longer use Forster, the skin changes are gone. Can it really be related to the Medies? So Caramlo for blood pressure, makes my asthma worse. Hence Forster and thus the skin changes?!

It is not described that the ingredients of Caramlo lead to an exacerbation of bronchial asthma symptoms. Both components of the drug are considered safe for use in people with asthma.
Caramlo is a two-component drug (it contains candesartan and amlodipine), it may be worth discussing with your doctor the legitimacy of using another drug for hypertension, e.g. a single-component drug with amlodipine alone.
As research shows: "Calcium antagonists are the safest of the five basic groups of antihypertensive drugs in patients with bronchial asthma" - and amlodipine belongs to this group of drugs. Sartans, to which candesartan belongs, are also a group of first-line drugs in patients with hypertension and associated asthma.
If the beclomethasone in Fostex leads to skin allergies, etc., you should consult your doctor. Perhaps the specialist will decide to change to long-acting ß2-agonists, e.g. salmeterol. This substance is also administered in the form of inhalations, acts on the smooth muscles of the bronchi, causes their relaxation and improves lung ventilation.
To sum up, it is worth discussing with your doctor the replacement of hypertension drugs with a single-component preparation and replacing the inhaled drug with a preparation from another group. If your asthma symptoms are mild after changing your hypertension medication, you may want to consider using emergency inhalations (in case of an asthma attack). All these products are available in pharmacies on prescription, so the change must be decided by a doctor.
