Mysimba (naltrexone and brupriopion) can be used with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Aclexa (celecoxib) or Roticox (etoricoxib), but caution is advised.
NSAIDs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects such as ulcers or bleeding, especially when used with Mysimba, which also has potential side effects. In the case of concomitant use of PPIs, which should be taken one hour to half an hour before a meal, and Mysimba during a meal, a time interval between drugs should be maintained.
Please remember that taking all medications and dietary supplements should always be reported to your doctor, especially when he or she decides to implement further medications. Such a procedure will allow for the selection of safe and effective pharmacotherapy.
