Is the effectiveness of contraception maintained if I am late with taking the pill by 8 hours?

I take the Slinda pill and forgot to take it on day 1 after the placebos (yesterday), which would actually take place at 9:30 p.m. I noticed that this morning at 5:30 a.m. and then took the pill directly. Is contraception still guaranteed now?

According to the Slinda leaflet, if you delay taking any single tablet for up to 24 hours, the contraceptive effectiveness is not reduced. You should take the tablet as soon as you remember, and take the next tablets at the usual time. In the described case, the effectiveness of contraception is maintained.
