One study found that combining flaxseed with tamoxifen led to a significant decrease in the weight of breast tumors, suggesting that flaxseed oil may improve the effectiveness of the treatment.

However, there are some recommendations regarding the duration of consumption. It is important not to take flaxseed oil immediately before or after taking tamoxifen, as this can affect the absorption of the drug. It is recommended to wait at least two hours between consuming the oil and taking tamoxifen.
