Can I stop taking the contraceptive pills from the pack earlier if I have bleeding 5 days before the scheduled withdrawal bleeding break?
21.00 zł

I've been taking atywia daily pills for several years. I took 4 packs non-stop (no placebo pills). I had 5 active pills left until the end of the 4th package and I got brown spotting that lasts 2 days. In this case, can I skip these last 5 pills and start taking placebo pills? Do I have to take the last 5 active pills and then the 7 placebo pills or can I stop taking them earlier?

Please complete the active tablets from the pack you have started and then take the placebo tablets. You can then start taking the tablets from the next pack.

Skipping a break for withdrawal bleeding may result in mid-cycle bleeding, which is more likely to occur with the number of "breaks" you skip to take placebo pills.
