I took statin for a period and then stopped because I had burning in my feet, then I resumed it and the discomfort in my feet returned, now after two months I have resumed and I feel sensitivity underneath. I don't know if it's the statin, jo also cysts under the foot. The doctor has taken me ezyme, can he give less effect of this kind?

Statins can cause muscle pain. Taking into account the frequency of problems overlapping with the implemented treatment, it can be assumed that side effects of the treatment will occur (of course - to be sure, it is also worth conducting an orthopedic assessment of painful areas). Ezetimibe can cause muscle pain (and other muscle tissue disorders), but this has been observed less frequently in clinical trials than statins. The occurrence of muscle pain during the treatment is an indication to discontinue the use of the drug.
