If you miss more than one tablet, you should consult a gynecologist. The effectiveness of the drug is reduced. If unprotected intercourse has taken place in the days preceding the pause of the pills, the use of emergency contraception should be considered. If you have missed a pill from week 3 and have not yet taken further doses, you may consider taking a break from bleeding and resuming your use after 7 days (check the package leaflet for instructions - information may vary depending on the type of contraceptive pill).
