The diosmectite in Smecta can adsorb and inhibit the absorption of oral medications that have been taken at a similar time. It is recommended to keep an interval of at least 2 hours between taking diosmectite and the contraceptive pill. Therefore, taking the pill 3 hours after drinking Smecta does not jeopardise the effectiveness of contraception.

Flegamax and Isla Mint do not interact with hormonal contraception. There is no reason to worry about contraceptive protection.
