Information on the use of Belara after childbirth:
'Women who are not breastfeeding may start Belara between 21 and 28 days after delivery. In this case, an additional barrier contraceptive method is not necessary.
If the use of the product is started later than 28 days after delivery, additional barrier contraceptive methods must be used during the first 7 days of taking the pill.
If you have already had sex, pregnancy should be ruled out before starting the tablets, or wait until the first menstrual bleeding before starting to use them.
Women who are breastfeeding should not use Belara."
During breastfeeding, the use of single-component contraceptive pills may be considered, for which lactation is not a contraindication.
