It is not recommended to combine preparations with Ashwagandha and drugs that affect the central nervous system (such as Asentra and Trittico). Ashwagandha may interact with preparations affecting the central nervous system, which may increase the risk of e.g. side effects. A common interaction of Ashwaghandha with antidepressants are symptoms of the central nervous system with a very different clinical picture. Other commonly reported side effects of ashwagandha include nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal upset.
