Is the protection maintained if the edges of the Liberelle tablet are slightly chipped?
13.00 zł

Hello, I would like to ask if a slightly damaged rim of the Liberelle contraceptive pill can affect their effectiveness? In the blister I am currently taking, I noticed that several tablets have just such marks. I would also like to ask if in a situation where such a tiny fragment of the shell remains on my hand when removing the tablet from the blister and I do not notice it while swallowing the tablet, is the effectiveness reduced?

Such minor damage to the edges of the tablet will not affect the effectiveness of the therapy. The effect of Liberelle tablets is preserved and there is no reason to worry.
These are immediate-release tablets, so minor damage to the edges will not affect the absorption of the active substances from the tablet.
