Should you continue treatment with Pylera if it causes migraines and an unpleasant taste in the mouth?

Hello
I started the pylera treatment 4 days ago now and I have a horrible migraine... And an aftertaste in the back of my throat is so unpleasant. Should I continue my treatment even if I suffer from my migraines? I definitely want to eliminate this bacteria... What should I do? Thank you

Migraines and an unpleasant aftertaste can be a side effect of Pylera therapy (Helicobacter pylori treatment), but it is crucial to complete a full course of treatment to successfully fight the infection.

In this situation, consult your doctor if your migraines are very bothersome – he or she may recommend a modification of your treatment, migraine relief measures, or a change in therapy. To minimize symptoms, stay hydrated, avoid potential migraine triggers, and use pain medication. Discontinuation of treatment without consultation can lead to a recurrence of infection and the development of bacterial resistance.
