What if my doctor has prescribed Sumamed for an infection without knowing that I am taking Biosotal?

Hello.I have been taking Biosotal 40 in the morning and evening for years. I have an infection and I was given Summamed 1 day 2 times a day and then 1 day for 4 days. Will I face serious side effects? I forgot to mention Biosotal to the doctor. What to do? Thank you for your reply

The combined use of sotalol (Biosotal) and azithromycin (Sumamed) may increase the risk of cardiac arrhythmias.
If the doctor prescribing Sumamed did not know about the Biosotal you are using, you should have a consultation to determine the legitimacy of taking the medication at the same time.

If necessary, you can use the teleconsultation here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
