According to the information contained in the Summary of Product Characteristics, revaccination with an interval of less than 3 years is not recommended. Administration of the vaccine with a dosing interval of more than 3 years is usually well tolerated.
"Revaccination is recommended in elderly people who:
- there is an increased risk of fatal pneumococcal disease, and vaccination against pneumococcal infections was performed in them at least 3 years earlier;
- there is a rapid decrease in the level of anti-pneumococcal antibodies."
