I have a question, I have already received 4 doses of diprophos in the spine area every 14 days, 3 days ago I received the 4th dose and there are also side effects such as headaches, redness on the face, blood pressure spikes, and I have observed that after these 4 doses my stomach has grown a bit, are there possible side effects?

Yes, you may experience a side effect of muscle weakness (including the muscles of the arms and shoulder) while using Diprophos.

Yes, Diprophos (the active ingredient is betamethasone, which is a steroid) can cause a variety of side effects, including the following:
- headaches - are a common side effect of steroids and can result from their effect on the nervous system or changes in pressure,
- facial redness - the drug can cause blood vessels to dilate, which results in redness of the skin, especially on the face,
- blood pressure spikes - the drug can cause sodium and water retention in the body, which promotes an increase in blood pressure,
- and weight gain and the so-called "steroid belly" - steroids can lead to the redistribution of adipose tissue and increased fat deposition in the abdomen, neck and face area (the so-called "moon face"). Long-term use can also cause fluid retention and increased body weight.
If the side effects of Diprophos are severe and cause discomfort, it is worth consulting your doctor to discuss possible treatment modifications.
