Liberelle pills work from the first day of use, as long as the first pill is taken on the 1st day of the natural menstrual cycle. If you started taking the drug on days 2 to 5 of your cycle, it is recommended to use an additional barrier method of contraception, such as a condom, for the first 7 days of your cycle.
