Will Proktosedon ointment (composition: 5 mg hydrocortisone acetate, 5 mg cinchocaine hydrochloride, 10 mg neomycin sulfate, 10 mg esculin one and spółhydrate, excipients: liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly, lanolin anhydrous) applied locally weaken the effect of Vibin mini contraceptive pills? Topical Proktosedon ointment does not affect the efficacy of the Vibin mini oral contraceptive pills. Due to the local nature of application, the ingredients of this ointment do not reach sufficient levels in the blood to alter the metabolism of hormones contained in contraception.
