Good morning.
My mother was prescribed Rixacam for blood thinning and has been taking it for 3 months. He also has frequent stomach problems. Today she had a new and disturbing symptom, her whole body was shaking for about 1 hour, she had chills and convulsions. Could it be related to this drug?

According to the information contained in the RIxicam dossier, the appearance of seizures while taking the drug is an indication to immediately notify the doctor about it. Convulsions may be a symptom of bleeding.
