Good evening. If Coltrimazolum cream does not sensitize me, but helps and heals the vulva, can coltrimazolum tablets sensitize me? And if so, should I take it immediately after taking the first pill? Or can it also sensitize, for example, after the next ones? I didn't notice anything disturbing, but for example, all vaginal medications like Gyno or Gino sensitized me, e.g. after 5 or 7 applications, it's a bit strange.

Hypersensitivity to a given drug may appear immediately after use or some time after starting the treatment. Allergy can be caused not only by the active substance itself, but also by the ingredients of the tablet mass or the capsule shell. In such a situation, it is advisable to use vaginal preparations in the form of a cream, e.g.:

or a change in treatment strategy (preferably under medical supervision).
Persistent and recurrent ailments are an indication for gynecological examinations. Discontinuation of antifungal and antibacterial treatment may cause an increase in resistance of microorganisms to drugs and more difficult treatment of infections in the future.
