Avedol is a preparation containing carvedilol, substances from the group of so-called betablockers. Avedol is indicated for essential hypertension, chronic stable angina and as adjunctive therapy of moderate to severe stable heart failure.
Non-selective betablockers, e.g. carvedilol, are also used in the treatment of esophageal varices.
Avedol is a prescription drug that should be used as directed by your doctor.
