Is it possible to replace Atywia with Levomine in the middle of a cycle?

I took Atywia but they had a terrible migraine. The doctor changed my medication to Levomine (I wasn't directly at the appointment so I couldn't ask) and the question is, if I took two tablets of Atywi, can I now start packing new pills or do I have to finish the old ones, wait these 7 days and start a new drug?

New tablets (Levomine) should be started after the current Atywia blister is completed. Migraine (especially severe migraine) is a contraindication to the use of all two-component contraceptives - Levomine also (risk of stroke). Consideration should be given to taking single-component tablets, which can be used in patients suffering from migraines. Gynecological consultation is recommended. If Atywia causes migraine attacks, its use should be stopped even in the middle of the cycle.

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a gynaecologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
