A pregnancy test with a sensitivity of 20 mIU/ml, performed 20 days after unprotected intercourse, should be able to detect pregnancy, if it occurs.
If your test showed a negative result 20 days after intercourse, there is a good chance that you are not pregnant, especially if the test was performed as recommended (m.in. from morning urine). If you are still in doubt or have no period, I recommend repeating the test after a few days or consulting your doctor.
