Can spotting occur when using Cyclo-Progynova?
Hello, I have been taking cyclo-progin regularly for several months, I have not missed a dose even once. I have three tablets left to the end and I noticed spotting today and for three days I have had a stomachache for my period. Is it normal for me to continue taking the pills?

Side effects such as bleeding and mid-cycle spotting and lower abdominal pain have been reported with the use of Cyclo-progynova. Mid-cycle bleeding and spotting may occur in the first months of treatment. If they appear some time after the start of therapy, or persist despite its discontinuation, their cause should be determined.
If this is the first time you have noticed side effects, observe your body and see a gynaecologist if your symptoms worsen. The occurrence of adverse reactions is not always the basis for discontinuation of the drug, if in your opinion they pose a threat to health, you should consult your doctor.
