The doctor prescribed me Silamil 1 tablet in the morning and Doxar 1 tablet in the evening, but after using the medication for 7 days I currently have a feeling of not emptying my bladder completely, which frustrates me quite a lot, pinching, difficulty urinating and lack of appetite.
Is it better to write to the doctor to change the medication ?

Both Silamil (silodosine) and Doxar (doxazosin) can cause symptoms such as incomplete emptying of the bladder, difficulty urinating and pinching when urinating, although these symptoms are rare. Lack of appetite is not a typical side effect for both medicines, however, some patients may experience this symptom as a reaction of the body to the medicine or as a result of other side effects such as dizziness or weakness.
Side effects usually occur in the first weeks of treatment and resolve spontaneously over time. However, if the use of medications is associated with too much discomfort and you are unable to function normally, you should consult your doctor who will decide on adjusting the doses or changing the medications.
