According to the drug leaflets:
Sirdalud causes a decrease in increased muscle tone. The drug has a central effect and relaxes skeletal muscles. It mainly acts on the spinal cord and causes a reduction in excessive muscle tension. Sirdalud is used to treat e.g. painful muscle spasms associated with spinal disorders such as lower back pain, torticollis following surgery such as herniated nucleus pulposus or hip arthritis, to treat increased muscle tension in neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, chronic spinal cord diseases, degenerative diseases of the spinal cord, stroke and cerebral palsy (in adults who have previously been diagnosed with cerebral palsy).
Baclofen Polpharma is a muscle relaxant used in adults and children. It is used to reduce and relieve excessive skeletal muscle tension (spasms) that occurs in various medical conditions, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, strokes, spinal cord injury and other diseases of the nervous system. It reduces pain associated with excessive muscle tension and facilitates rehabilitation.
The selection of the preparation depends on the cause of increased muscle tension in the lower limbs.
