Hydroxyzine may interact with other medicines that affect the nervous system, such as Ketrel, Escitalopram and Cynarizine. The combination of these drugs can increase the risk of excessive sleepiness, dizziness, impaired coordination, and in rare cases, affect heart rhythm. Therefore, it is not recommended to take Hydroxyzine while taking these medications, except when recommended by a doctor who is thoroughly familiar with the patient's health condition and monitors such treatment for side effects.
