The drug should be used as prescribed by the doctor, but if 5 mg does not have the expected effect, a dose of 10 mg may be considered. According to the SmPC, the usual recommended dose is 10 mg, taken before planned sexual activity, with or without food. In patients in whom a dose of 10 mg does not have an adequate effect, a dose of 20 mg may be used. The product should be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
