Should you discontinue Pentasa Xtend for acute diarrhea?

Pentasa Xtend 2x2mg discontinue from the first because of severe diarrhea?

So for me it is currently getting worse and worse with the diarrhea and mild/moderate stomach problems.

I said I had gotten it before and couldn't tolerate it, but the doctor at the time couldn't tell if there was something like that.

Diarrhea can be a serious symptom that requires medical attention, especially if it is acute and persists for more than a few days. If you experience acute diarrhoea after starting Pentasy, I encourage you to consult your doctor. Diarrhoea can be a side effect of this medication, and it can also indicate other health problems. It is important not to make the decision to discontinue the drug on your own, without consulting a specialist.

I encourage you to report the symptoms you experience to your doctor, as well as to report the occurrence of an adverse effect of the preparation.
