Why is Medikinet 30 mg extended-release only working for 2 hours on me?
I am taking Medikinet 30 mg extended-release. It helps, but it only works for 2 hours, then I don't feel any therapeutic effect. It starts working 25-45 minutes after swallowing the capsule whole (depending on how much I ate on a given day and how long it was from the meal to the dose). If I open the capsule and swallow the contents, the effect starts very quickly and also lasts about 2 hours. Why is my body metabolizing this drug so quickly and is there anything I can do about it?

I had the same effect as described in the question, it turned out that breakfast cereals are definitely not enough :)
