Good morning
Due to the infection, I was prescribed Symbactin. After applying one globule at night, white lumps appeared in the mucus in the morning. Before taking the pill, I was accompanied only by a burning sensation in the vagina. Are these lumps the remains of a pill or did the drug cause vaginal mycosis?

The white lumps may be tablet debris that has not been completely absorbed.
If they were accompanied by symptoms such as burning, there is a possibility that the medication may have caused dysbiosis, which in turn can lead to vaginal thrush. Mycoses are often the result of an imbalance in the microflora, which can happen after antibiotic therapy.
It is recommended to consult a doctor to rule out a fungal infection.
