Good afternoon. Is it possible to combine the intake of brintellix 10 mg with the main drugs for another diagnosis - finlepsin retard 800 per day and clonazepam 2 mg per day? I read somewhere that finlepsin reduces the content of brintellix in the blood. Is this true? Thank you.

Brintellix, Finlepsin Retard and Clonazepam can be combined if they have been prescribed by the same doctor, or if the prescriber has been informed of what other medicines you are already taking and any other medical conditions you have.
Brintellix (wortioxetine) may interact with Finlepsin (carbamazepine), which may lead to a decrease in the concentration of Brintellix in the blood and thus a decrease in its therapeutic effect. Clonazepam, in turn, may increase the sedative effect of Brintellix, which is associated with the risk of respiratory depression. Therefore, if combining these drugs is necessary, you should strictly follow the dosage schedule established with your doctor.
