Hello I have been taking ryeqo since 24/04 (so 3 months) following a fibroid of +/- 4cm in the uterus which causes me severe bleeding... Failure with lutenyl. Ryeqo is therefore the last alternative before the operation... Ryeqo has the yo-yo effect, it bleeds, it works... How long does it take for the treatment to work properly?

To @brenda:
If you need to obtain a drug like Ryeqo, it is crucial to consult a doctor who can assess your situation and decide on treatment. If you have difficulty making an appointment, try contacting a gynaecologist who has experience in treating ovarian cysts.
If the pain is intense, consider going to a hospital or emergency room for urgent help. It is important to act quickly and get professional care.
If you need more personalized advice, you can use teleconsultations here:

According to the package leaflet, some women may experience fibroid slipping out of the uterus into the vagina. In some patients, fibroids may be reduced. You can read more in the opinion:
Thank you very much. Can the fibroid decompound and evacuate on its own?

According to the data in the summary of product characteristics, a reduction in the intensity of bleeding with Ryeqo was observed as early as 4 weeks of treatment. However, it may happen that excessive and persistent bleeding occurs during the use of the drug due to the side effect of the drug. In addition, transient intensity of bleeding may be associated with the expulsion of submucosal myoma of the uterus, which we wrote about here:
In addition, after starting to use the preparation, there is a so-called adaptation period, which may be related to changes in bleeding, i.e. irregular bleeding, more or less intense, may appear. With the duration of treatment, these symptoms should subside, which we wrote about, for example, here:
If you think that Ryeqo is ineffective in your case, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. You can also take advantage of teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem
The effectiveness of treatment can be determined by a doctor, e.g. by visualizing the size of the fibroid during an ultrasound examination.
