After storing NuvaRing outside the fridge for 2 days (for travel), can I put it back in the fridge?
19.00 zł

Good morning. For the duration of the trip, I had to take NuvaRing out of the fridge (about 2 days). I transported it at a temperature below 30 degrees. Can I store it in the fridge again after this time? I have to change the disc in a week, and I'm not sure if I will be able to control the temperature in the apartment on an ongoing basis during this time, so that it is not more than 30 degrees. Thank you for your reply

There is no need to worry about storing NuvaRing in the refrigerator after short-term storage at room temperature. NuvaRing can be safely stored at up to 30°C for up to 4 months, so 2-day storage outside the refrigerator did not affect its effectiveness.

If you are concerned that the temperature in your home may exceed 30°C, you can safely put NuvaRing back in the fridge. Refrigeration (2-8°C) is also recommended to extend the shelf life of the drug. Please remember to store NuvaRing in its original packaging, protecting it from light and moisture.
