Asertin (sertraline) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant, and Naraya is a combined contraceptive pill containing ethinylestradiol and drospirenone. Overall, sertraline is not known to reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives such as Naraya, there is no need to worry. However, it is worth keeping a time interval of at least 1-2 hours between the use of medications.
