Usually, the drug is used on diseased skin where the hydrolipid barrier is damaged, so it does not have a major impact on the effectiveness of the therapy.
A thin layer of Duac should be applied to the affected area after gently washing with a mild cleaning agent and drying thoroughly. If the gel does not penetrate the skin freely, it means that too much has been applied.
Contraceptive pills can worsen the condition of the skin, but they do not affect the effectiveness of Duac.
