Yes, you can combine Amlodipine Besylan 10mg and Candesartan Cilexetil 16mg to treat high blood pressure.

Yes, a combination of drugs is used in the treatment of hypertension, because both drugs act on different mechanisms of blood pressure regulation, which can lead to a more effective reduction in blood pressure.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that dilates blood vessels, which helps lower blood pressure. Candesartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (sartan), which also helps lower blood pressure by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to constrict. Clinical studies have shown that the combination of candesartan and amlodipine is effective in lowering blood pressure and is well tolerated by patients.

However, it is not recommended to treat hypertension on your own without consulting your doctor. Hypertension is a serious chronic disease that requires proper monitoring and adjustment of treatment by a specialist. High blood pressure medications should be taken as prescribed by your doctor, and it can be dangerous to change dosage or combine medications on your own.

If you have hypertension, your doctor may recommend monotherapy or a combination of medications, such as amlodipine and candesartan, depending on your individual needs. It is important to measure your blood pressure regularly and record your results, as well as to maintain a healthy lifestyle that includes a proper diet, regular physical activity, limiting alcohol consumption, and stopping smoking.

If your blood pressure remains above 140/90 mmHg, you will need to see your doctor again to modify your treatment. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
