Good morning, I've been taking lamotrix for a week, I was on 25 and 25mg in the morning and in the evening, but now I'm taking 50 in the morning and it's terrible, and I have to increase the dose in about a week, a day to 100mg, I don't know what to do, because today I'm very agitated, I don't control myself too much and anxiety manifests itself from time to time, what to do? it will pass ?maybe it interacts with my medications? I take 112.5mg of venlofaxine in the morning and 45mg of chloroproxix in the evening.

At the beginning of treatment with Lamotrix, severe symptoms of the disease may occur, as we wrote in the opinion:
The combined use of Lamotrix, Venlafaxine and Chlorprothixen should be done according to the instructions of the treating physician. The dosage of the drugs, as well as changes in dosage, should be in accordance with his recommendations.
If the described symptoms do not go away, I encourage you to consult a doctor. If you are unable to make a stationary visit, you can use a teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

The effect of Lamotrix only starts after some time of regular use and depends on several factors. I encourage you to read an additional opinion on a similar topic:
Chlorprothixen may lower your epileptic threshold, which may affect the need to adjust your dose of Lamotrix (when used in epilepsy).
