It is worth remembering that when taking an antibiotic, it is recommended to use single-strain probiotics containing Saccharomyces boulardii yeast (e.g. Enterol) or Lactobacillus GG bacteria (e.g. Dicoflor), which have the best documented effect in preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea. After completing the treatment, it is worth including a multi-strain probiotic, e.g. Multilac, which will help enrich the intestinal bacterial flora (for a period of at least 2-3 weeks).
