Can you give a 14-year-old child pyrantel if they have been diagnosed with a stomach ulcer? We treated the ulcer for 3 months. Does Pyrantel affect ulcers, is it not dangerous?

No, it is not recommended to give Pyrantelum to a 14-year-old child with stomach ulcers. Pyrantelum is an antiparasitic medicine that can irritate or worsen the symptoms of a stomach ulcer. Administration of Pyrantelum in this situation could exacerbate the symptoms associated with gastric ulcers and delay treatment. Continue to treat the ulcer as directed by your doctor.
