What should I do if I have irregular bleeding with the IUD?
Hello. I inserted a kyleena IUD on March 17, 2023 after 5 years without a hitch with the same model.
I knew that the first 6 months were irregular so I had to wait. I've had it for almost a year now and I still have irregular periods and especially discharge between the two periods. What worries me is that the previous IUD I didn't have any periods after 6 months (or very little) and now with the same device it's completely different!

If you experience irregular spotting while using the IUD, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You can also take advantage of a teleconsultation via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
