Hello, can Ircolon cause heavy menstrual bleeding despite taking contraception? I used to take Zulbex and I also had heavy menstrual bleeding.

To date, no increase in menstrual bleeding has been reported with Ircolon. It is used for motility disorders and intestinal complaints associated with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and for the treatment of pain associated with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and bile ducts. Ircolon does not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill.
