Can Travocort cream be applied to a nail wound?

I have fallen out of a nail that was injured doing housework and the area underneath is swollen....... Can I use Travocort?

Travocort is a medicine that can only be used with a prescription.

Travocort is indicated for the initial treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin with concomitant severe inflammatory or eczematous skin lesions, e.g. of the hands, intertoe spaces of the feet, inguinal and genital areas.

The nail wound should be properly dressed. Swelling may indicate an infection.
