Heart disease is not a contraindication to Rupafin. However, it is worth knowing that rupatadine should be used with caution in patients with known QT prolongation, in patients with decompensated hypokalaemia, in patients with conditions predisposing to arrhythmias, such as: clinically significant bradycardia, acute myocardial ischaemia.
Prescribers should be informed of any medical conditions you may have. This allows them to assess the safety of the medicine in a particular patient.
