The occurrence of migraine with aura is a contraindication to the use of Vines pills and any other combined contraceptive pills. If migraine symptoms have occurred or worsened while using Vines, you should stop taking the drug and go to a gynaecologist for a check-up.
Information in the summary of product characteristics:
'An increase in the incidence or severity of
migraines in the course of the use of complex hormonal
contraceptives (which may foreshadow
occurrence of cerebrovascular event) may
be a reason for immediate discontinuation
application.'
Your gynaecologist may consider replacing the tablets with single-ingredient ones that can be taken by migraine patients.
No interaction of Nomigren with birth control pills has been observed.
