What can cause bleeding in the middle of the cycle when using Polaring?
Hello, for more than half a year I have been using the PolaRing ring this month on the 9th day of the cycle brown spotting began. They have been going on for 6 days and today it is no longer brown, but red spotting. What could be the cause? I have never had a similar situation, the discs are always put on and pulled out very precisely (temporarily). Is it usual mid-cycle spotting?

It is probably a simple intracyclic bleeding (a common side effect of Polaring), but if there has been no spotting / bleeding before, it is worth going to a gynecologist who, based on tests, will rule out non-hormonal causes of bleeding.
