Hello, I take elin tablets, the first pack from the 1st day of menstruation. In addition, I drank nettle. On the 8th day of the cycle I had intercourse. On the 9th day around 18 I swallowed ella one. What is the probability of being pregnant? Please reply.

Properly used Elin contraceptive pills are an effective contraceptive method and there is no need to use, for example, emergency contraceptive pills. With correctly used Elin tablets, there is no risk of pregnancy. Did anything happen (like skipping a tablet, vomiting, etc.) that made you use ellaOne? After taking ellaOne, it is recommended that you use an additional method of contraception (such as a condom) until the end of the pack of Elin. ellaOne temporarily reduces the effectiveness of regular contraception. The effectiveness of ellaOne taken within 24 hours of an inadequately secured relationship (e.g. after skipping an Elin tablet) in preventing pregnancy is over 97%. Drinking nettle does not affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception.
