Aren't Fevarin and Arpixor too strong drugs for a 10-year-old?
Hello Our child 10 years old has tics and assigned Arpixor 5mg previously Rispolept . He is currently assigned Fevarin 2 tablets a day and 1 tablet of Arpixor. Aren't these drugs too strong for a 10-year-old? We are looking for information, but each time only that the drugs are not used in children .... But a psychiatrist attributed them to us

Arpixor 5 mg has not been approved as a psychogenic cough medicine. Arpixor contains aripiprazole, which is an antipsychotic medicine used to treat schizophrenia, manic episodes and other affective disorders.
Psychogenic cough is usually the result of psychological factors, and treatment primarily involves the identification and management of psychological factors that contribute to the cough and behaviorist, relaxation or psychoeducation therapy.
If you have problems with cough and believe that it is related to psychological factors, I encourage you to consult a specialist. Your doctor can perform an evaluation to identify the causes of your cough and recommend appropriate treatment, including psychotherapeutic approaches if they deem it appropriate.
