Should I use extra protection if I am 11 hours late with taking the 4th Orlifique tablet?

Good morning, On the first day of my period (Friday) at 20:00 I started Orlificique tablets, but I forgot to take 4 tablets at 20:00 (Monday) and took it only on Tuesday at 7:00. I took another one on Tuesday at 20:00. What does protection and possible additional security look like in this case? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Since it has not been more than 12 hours since you usually take the medicine, the protection has been maintained. You have done the right thing and there is no need for an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom. Only if the delay was longer than 12 hours could the protection be reduced. In your case, there is no such risk. The use of tablets should be continued and protection is maintained.
