Good morning, I have a question about the transition from limetic to drug atywia. Is there a possibility of pregnancy (and how big) if on the last day of taking limetic intercourse occurred and on the next day the atywia was admitted at a fixed time? On the leaflet there is information about a 7-day additional protection at the time of change from a mini-tablet, but nowhere is there mention of additional protection, e.g. 5 days before the change. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Intercourse before switching from Limetic to Atywia is properly protected against pregnancy. When changing the contraceptive preparation from Limetic to Atywia, it is recommended to use an additional method of contraception for the next 7 days of using Atywia. There is no need for an additional method of contraception before changing medicines. I enclose a link to check the availability of Atywia and make a reservation at the selected pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/8018/atywia-tabletki-powlekane/apteki We wrote more about how to use contraception correctly in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje I enclose an additional opinion in a similar query: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/59152/atywia-czy-po-7-dniach-od-zmiany-tabletek-z-jedno-na-dwuskladnikowe-jestem-juz-chroniona-przed-niepla
Thank you for your reply. My doubt arose in connection with the fact that sperm can survive theoretically 3-5 days in the genital tract of a woman and the first 7 days of atywi should be protected additionally, limetic also does not give protection if we are late with the tablet more than 12 hours so there is a "gap" in this protection when moving from one to another and I began to wonder :)
